Requests for Accommodation

Understanding how Sodexo Responds to Requests for Accommodation.

At Sodexo, we are committed to improving the quality of daily life for every employee. How Sodexo responds to requests for accommodation reflects the company's Employee Value Proposition commitments to:

  • Provide safe working conditions
  • Provide an environment of strong and open two-way communication
  • Strive to tailor your career to you
  • Create an environment that is inclusive and respects your unique diversity

Consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended, Sodexo has a policy to make reasonable accommodations to the known physical or mental limitations of an otherwise qualified individual with a disability who is an applicant or an employee, unless the accommodation would impose undue hardship on the company. Employees will find Sodexo's process of managing requests for reasonable accommodation ensures full consideration and documentation of the requests through an interactive process between the employee, manager, Human Resources, and the Office of Employment Rights (OER), as needed.

Employees make a request for accommodation by submitting the Request for Accommodation Form to their direct supervisor. Employees should be aware that they can escalate the request to their Human Resources representative.

For more information about the Americans with Disabilities Act, refer to Company Policy CP-403 or contact your Human Resources manager.
